The 2013 Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang Invitational has been called ON for this Sunday (August 11th). A massive southwest swell has lit up the southern coast of Bali, and the waves at Padang Padang have finally reached the world-class caliber required to run the 10-year anniversary of Asia's most prestigious surf contest.

Thirty-two of the best barrel riders in the world, including defending champion Chris Ward (USA), Ry Craike (Aus), Rizal Tandjung (Bali), Lee Wilson (Bali) and Mark Healey (Hawaii), have gathered at Padang Padang and are prepared to battle it out.

The drama begins at 6:30 AM Sunday morning with Heat 1: Christian Fletcher (USA), Dylan Longbottom (Australia), Pepen Hendrik (Bali) and 2-time event champion Lee Wilson (Bali).
