Bruno Santos takes Sponsor Wildcard

Rip Curl's Brazilian searcher is headed to Peniche after happily accepting the first of two Rip Curl Wildcards into the main event...

Bruno, the 2008 Billabong Pro Tahiti champion, has been a wildcard in several Rip Curl Pro events, including the 2007 Rip Curl Pro Search in Chile where he finished =5th overall.  

Born in Brazil, but blessed with dual Brazilian/Portuguese citizenship, Bruno was put on this planet to get barreled. He's only a short guy, but he's as stocky as a wild bore. He knows how to take the right line when dropping into a big barrel and then just plants his legs (aka kegs) and points it...
